In the case of surveys - Well yes it can! But, is it worth all the hassle? You must have a clear idea of what you are trying to achieve and of the trustworthy sites that you will get paid from and what amounts you are likely to make. Writing Blogs? We'll see! HTMail

HTMail is one of the longest standing paid to read sites available - I have been seeing adverts for it for years now.

What is involved?

Very basically you sign up by completing a very simple demographic survey. Once you have done this you sit and wait for them to send you e-mails. On receipt of e-mails from HTMail you click on a link, which takes you to the advertisers' web site. As you do this a pop-up opens which is a form to return information to HTMail.

The whole process is pretty straightforward and is no real effort at all. For each e-mail read and as long as you return the information requested to HTMail you receive £0.05.

Drawbacks?

The minimum payout is £15 or £10 if you can accept Paypal payment. To hit the £10 mark means you need to have read 200 mails to reach the payout point. I joined on 23rd May and to date have received 13 mails. So at approx 2 e-mails every 3 days it will take about 10 months to hit the £10 mark for payment by Paypal.

The real way to make money!

Of course the real way to make money from this site is by referrals. Each referral you recruit will, when replying to HTMail after viewing a site, make you £0.03 per mail read. At the next level when a person you have referred makes a referral and one of their referrals reads a mail you get £0.01.

So if you would kindly click here to join HTMail's opt-in list and, if asked, enter jjlp86@gmail.com than we can both make money from this!

If you want any advice on seeking your own referrals leave a comment to this post.
